Slipping into the green-leather captain's chair in the
sub is a great joy indeed. "I'm loving this!" In front of him are the
various gauges. They are all encased in pure gold. He has a big round
white speedometer with a brass inlay at the middle the console. The bright
red numbers inside it really stand out. Dar gulps. "It has a message engraved
in bright bold beautiful handwriting - "you're gonna kick up some waves
with this 1000 Horsepower puppy…better you than me! Love and prayers -
Mario Andretti." Some serious water is about to be relocated pronto man!
The black leather captain's chair fits his back perfectly. He takes the
time to feel the texture of the leather with his hands and neck. It is
so soft and leathery. Now he is a courageous captain conquering his first
assignment!
"Only what in the world is my assignment?" thinks Dar. "Oh well, I guess I'll find out soon enough. It has to be more interesting than my dull afternoon in Lone Pine. I hope."
