Don Alexander , has taught public school for fifteen years. As a school teacher, he loved to read to the children in his class and tell them make believe stories. Darnia's Quest is a result of observing children fall in love for the first time.

Don holds a Bachelors Degree in English from California Baptist College. He also holds a California Teaching Credential and Master's Degree in Educational Administration from California State University. Don currently serves as a vice-principal in the California School System.

Don is a dedicated Christian and active member Healing of the Vine Church. Troubled by books such as Harry Potter and others that seemed to glorify a pagan or non-Christian attitude among children with their tales of witchcraft, prompted Don to write Darnia's Quest. Don believes that their should be a Christian alternative that promotes reading and fun for today's children.
